The candidate who did not hold a first degree in Biomedical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering Technology and who was not previously a Student Member.

Members of this category must have a minimum of one Year of higher education training in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, Medical informatics, or Biomedical Engineering Technology, and have obtained either one of the following: ND, HND, MSc, or PhD only.

Shall have at least 6 months of experience in the field after graduation.
